PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY

1. OVERVIEW
1. These terms and conditions (the “Terms”), together with any communication (“Promotional Material”) displayed in the Promotion (defined below), govern your participation in the Promotion organised by Moniepoint Microfinance Bank Limited (“Moniepoint MFB ). These Terms are supplemental to, and incorporate Moniepoint MFB’s General Terms and Conditions for Account Opening (accessible here) (the “Account Opening Terms”).
2. These Terms and the Account Opening Terms (together, the “Agreement”) govern your participation in the Promotion. In the event of any conflict, these Terms shall prevail, unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. By entering the Promotion, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, and you agree that any breach of these Terms may result in your disqualification from the Promotion. If discovered, after a Reward (defined below) has been awarded, you agree to return such Reward and consent to Moniepoint MFB reversing the Reward from your Moniepoint MFB Account. If you do not agree to any provision of the Agreement, please do not participate in the Promotion.
4. Moniepoint MFB may amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website and will apply from the date of upload. You are advised to check our website regularly for updates.
5. Eligibility for a Reward is dependent on your completion of set Qualifying Events (defined below) displayed In-App and in the Promotional Material.
2. DEFINED WORDS AND THEIR MEANINGS

Capitalised terms used and not defined herein shall be as defined in the Account Opening Terms.

Word	Meaning
Affiliate	A company or legal entity which (a) controls Moniepoint MFB, either directly or indirectly or (b) which is controlled directly or indirectly by Moniepoint MFB, or (c) is directly or indirectly controlled by a company or entity which directly or indirectly controls Moniepoint MFB.
Business Day	A day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday on which banks in Lagos, Nigeria are open for business.
In-App	The communications displayed on Moniepoint MFB’s internet banking and mobile applications.
Celebrate Your Progress with Moniepoint Reward Promotion	Moniepoint MFB’s promotion celebrating the progress made by its customers for the year 2025, in which Participant(s) may win a Reward by fulfilling set Qualifying Events.
Participant	Account Holders who decide to participate in the Promotion.
Promotion	The Celebrate Your Progress with Moniepoint Reward Promotion
Promotion Period	The specific timeframe during which the Promotion runs, as specified in the Promotional Material and as may be amended by Moniepoint MFB from time to time.
Qualifying Events	The collective fulfilment of the following conditions by a Participant: Maintenance of an active Account for a period determined by Moniepoint MFB; The successful transfer of a minimum sum as displayed in the Promotional Material, during the week of entry submission within the Promotion Period; Following the official @moniepointng account on at least one Social Media Channel; and A Participant’s posting of an original video on his/her feed and story on a Social Media Channel that portrays what progress meant to such person in 2025, and tagging the official @moniepointmfb account on either Social Media Channel while using the hashtags [#Moniepoint #Madeforyourprogress];
Reward	Includes monetary or non-monetary benefits specified by Moniepoint MFB in the Promotional Material, awarded to a Participant upon successful participation in the Promotion determined by the fulfilment of set Qualifying Events.
Social Media Channel	Instagram, X (formerly known as “Twitter”), Facebook, Tik Tok, or any other social media channels specified in the Promotional Material.

3. ELIGIBILITY
1. To participate in the Promotion, you must: (a) be at least 18 years old (and by participating in the Promotion you confirm that you are aged 18 years or older); (b) be resident in Nigeria; and (c) have an active Account.
2. The Promotion shall only be available during the Promotion Period.
3. Following completion of the Qualifying Events, qualifying Participants shall participate in a weekly live random draw to be conducted by Moniepoint MFB on the Promotion’s designated landing page (the “Landing Page”). The link to the Landing Page will be communicated daily on specified Social Media Channels.
4. Winners in each Reward category shall be selected during the live draw using a randomizer tool. All selections, including the final list of weekly and overall winners, shall be subject to verification and final approval by Moniepoint MFB. Only Participants verified by Moniepoint MFB shall be entitled to receive the applicable Rewards.
5. All posts made in connection with the Promotion must remain public and visible on the Participant’s social media account for the Promotion Period and until verification is completed by Moniepoint MFB. Posts that are deleted, made private, or otherwise inaccessible during this period shall be deemed invalid.
4. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. To participate in the Promotion, Participants must:
   • meet the requirements specified in clause 3 above; and
   • fulfil all set Qualifying Events.
2. We reserve the right to reject any entry that is misleading, fraudulent, incomplete, or otherwise deficient. Additionally, we reserve the right to reject entries that are unlawful, and/or otherwise harmful to the goodwill and reputation of our business, and we reserve the right to disqualify such Participants from the Promotion. We shall not be liable for any late, lost, or misdirected entry submitted by a Participant.
3. Entry into the Promotion is free, and multiple entries may be submitted using the same social media account. Notwithstanding the number of entries submitted, each Participant shall be eligible to receive only one (1) Reward.
4. In the event that a Participant reverses or undoes previously fulfilled Qualifying Events - such as, without limitation closing their Account or where Moniepoint MFB closes such Account in accordance with the Account Opening Terms, Moniepoint MFB shall not be obliged to award any Reward and reserves the right to revoke or reverse any Reward previously awarded (if any).
5. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moniepoint MFB shall not be liable for any unsuccessful entries arising from, including but not limited to technical errors, errors in recording a Participant’s entry in the random draw, or failures in verifying the requisite information necessary for participation in the Promotion.
5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION PROCESS
1. All eligible entries shall be selected as specified under clause 3 above and remain subject to verification by Moniepoint MFB prior to the confirmation and award of Rewards.
2. Winners will be notified on their social media account via the Social Media Channel used in entry submission on the same day of selection following verification by Moniepoint MFB.
3. Notification of winnings shall convey: (a) the fact of the winning; (b) the Reward awarded; (c) instructions on how to claim the Reward awarded; and (d) the deadline for claim of such Reward.
4. Where a Reward includes a trip (“Trip Reward”), trip winners must have a valid international passport to claim the Reward. Moniepoint MFB will facilitate the visa process for the trip, however there is no assurance that a visa will be granted by the issuing authority. Trip winners are required to claim their Reward by providing their passport details and any additional travel information requested by Moniepoint MFB within five (5) days of being notified. Failure to claim this Trip Reward and/or provide the required documentation within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the Trip Reward.
5. Where a Reward is a monetary reward (“Monetary Reward”), winners must claim their Reward by acknowledging their win in response to Moniepoint MFB’s notification and providing their existing Moniepoint MFB account details for payment processing. Monetary Rewards will be paid only into the Winner’s Moniepoint MFB Account.
6. Monetary Rewards must be claimed within two (2) weeks following notification of winnings, failing which the Monetary Reward will be forfeited, and another winner may be selected at random by Moniepoint MFB.
7. No cash payouts or payments to third-party accounts by Moniepoint MFB will be permitted under any circumstances.
8. If advertised Rewards become unavailable for any reason, Moniepoint MFB may substitute the stated Rewards with rewards of broadly equivalent value. Such alternative Rewards shall be at Moniepoint MFB’s discretion and winners must accept Rewards in the form offered. Cash alternatives will not be offered for non-cash Rewards.
9. We accept no liability for a winner’s inability to receive a Reward, inclusive of circumstances where a winner has provided incorrect contact details.
10. Rewards are subject to availability and are non-transferable, and non-exchangeable. Where Rewards consist of time-specific benefits, such Rewards must be utilized on the dates specified by Moniepoint MFB. If a time-specific benefit associated with a Reward is not utilized within the specified time, such Reward will be automatically forfeited, and no cash reward shall be awarded in lieu.
11. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes and should seek independent advice.
12. To the maximum extent permitted by law and where applicable, Moniepoint MFB makes no representations or warranties regarding the Rewards, and excludes liability for their quality, fitness for purpose, merchantability or otherwise.
6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
1. Participants must comply with these Terms.
2. Entries (whether photos or videos) must not contain nudity, obscene or offensive content, profane language, discriminatory or political statements, symbols, or imagery that may be considered inappropriate, controversial, or inconsistent with Moniepoint MFB’s values and brand image. Any entry that violates these standards shall be disqualified at Moniepoint MFB’s sole discretion.
3. You must not:
   1. engage in any form of fraudulent, improper or illegal activity, or any form of collusion or cheating;
   2. create more than one account in a bid to game the system;
   3. provide false, incorrect, inaccurate or misleading information when registering for the Promotion;
   4. use multiple identities, logins, registrations, and/or any other method solely determined by Moniepoint MFB as abusive, as such acts will void any Reward, and deem you disqualified from further participating in the Promotion;
   5. use the Promotion in a manner that breaches applicable law or regulation;
   6. submit and entry through a social media account not owned by you; and
   7. act in any way that damages Moniepoint MFB’s goodwill, brand, or reputation.
4. We reserve the right to disqualify a Participant for the following reasons:
   1. submission of an incomplete/invalid entry;
   2. provision of inaccurate or fraudulent personal details;
   3. non-compliance with these Terms or the Account Opening Terms;
   4. any attempt to tamper with the entry process, random selection mechanism or results;
   5. use of bots, automated systems, or third parties to submit entries or manipulate the draw; and
   6. offensive or inappropriate submissions that violate Moniepoint MFB’s community standards.
7. UNDERTAKINGS AND OTHER GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
1. By participating in the Promotion, you acknowledge and agree that:
   1. entitlement to any Reward is based on the availability of the Promotion during the Promotion Period; and
   2. you bear sole liability for breaches of these Terms, the Account Opening Terms, and/or applicable laws and regulations.
2. If we reasonably believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of the Promotion, we may also in our sole discretion take any actions we deem fit in such circumstances. Additionally, we reserve the right to restrict your access to your Account, and/or close yourAccount for such fraudulent activity.
3. By participating in the Promotion, you agree that Moniepoint MFB may publicly announce your social media user handle in connection with your winning of a Reward. Such publication will be done on the Social Media Channel where you tagged us at the point of Promotion entry. Additionally, by winning a Reward, you agree to Moniepoint MFB’s use of your social media user handle for related promotional purposes on the applicable Social Media Channel without any additional compensation in connection with the Promotion.
4. We will process your personal data for several purposes related to the Promotion such as to confirm/verify your eligibility, manage and administer the Promotion such as your inclusion in the draw, communicate with you if you qualify or win a prize, and to publicize winners (where applicable). Promotional activity may involve featuring or reposting your submitted entries on Moniepoint MFB’s official platforms and social media pages, and publicizing your social media user handles which shall be done without any compensation to you. The personal data to be processed will include your name, social media handle, email address, phone number, Moniepoint MFB account number, transaction records, and, for trip winners, your international passport. Should you be selected as a winner of a Reward, you consent to the use of your personal data including your social media handle and/or any photos or videos taken during the trip (for Trip Rewards) or your content related to winning a Monetary Reward (where applicable) on Moniepoint MFB’s official pages across the Social Media Channels for promotional purposes.
   By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described. You acknowledge and agree that any personal data collected and used in connection with this Promotion will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, accessible here. This policy provides details on our practices for the collection, usage, and protection of your data, and your participation signifies your consent to these practices.
5. You agree and consent that we may use the Reward earned to set-off any amounts you owe us, for any reason whatsoever and as permitted by applicable law.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND USAGE RIGHTS
1. By participating in this Promotion, Participant grants Moniepoint MFB a\ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute their submitted entries (including photos, videos, captions, and usernames) for marketing, promotional, and related purposes, in any media or format, without further notice or compensation.
2. Participants represent and warrant that their entries are original, do not infringe the rights of any third party, and that they have obtained all necessary permissions for any third-party materials or individuals featured in their submissions.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
1. We accept no liability for any use of the Promotion that does not comply with the terms of the Agreement. Additionally, to the full extent permissible by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable to you or any third party whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, equity, misrepresentation (whether innocent or negligent), restitution or otherwise for any damages, loss of use of money, loss of revenue, arising from your participation in the Promotion, inclusive of (but not limited to) special, indirect, incidental, punitive, exemplary, and/or consequential damages, even if we had been advised of the possibility of such damages.
2. Where applicable, our maximum aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation (whether innocent or negligent) or otherwise arising in connection with the Promotion, shall be limited to the Reward due and arising from such claim.
3. You hereby indemnify and hold Moniepoint MFB, its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners and Affiliates (the “Indemnified Persons”) harmless from any and all claims or demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), whether direct or indirect, including any interest, fines, and other professional fees and expenses awarded against or incurred or paid by the Indemnified Persons, arising out of or in connection with: (a) your breach of the Agreement; (b) fraud, negligence, and/or willful misconduct committed by you; (c) your actions, inactions, or omissions that damage the reputation of Moniepoint MFB; and (d) your failure to comply with applicable laws.
4. The Bank shall not be liable for any loss arising from the Account Holder's inability to receive notification messages due to system down time arising from:
10. GENERAL TERMS
1. We may vary these Terms (including but not limited to the applicable Promotion Period, and Rewards) from time to time with notice to you, and we will post such a notice of such variation on our website and other applicable channels.
2. By your continued participation in the Promotion after such variation to these Terms, you agree to be bound by such changes or amendments made.
3. We reserve the right to terminate the Promotion at any time, and we may notify you of such termination and the remaining period within which you may access the Promotion.
